Desire BANSE is the Manager of Security Operations at IdeaCrew, where he leads compliance, governance, and enterprise security initiatives. With nearly 5 years at IdeaCrew, he has progressed from Security Operations Analyst to his current management role.
Desire has extensive experience in federal cybersecurity, having worked at NIST (National Institute of Standards and Technology) through positions at Prometheus Computing LLC and as a Guest Researcher. His work at NIST focused on speaker and language recognition research, contributing to important publications on i-Vector Machine Learning and Language Recognition.
Prior to his federal work, Desire held roles at Systems Plus Inc and Leidos, building a strong foundation in software engineering and IT security. He is multilingual, fluent in French (native), English (full professional proficiency), and has working knowledge of Italian and African languages.
Desire holds a Master of Science in Software Engineering from TELECOM Nancy (Institut Mines Telecom) and a DUT in Computer Science from Institut universitaire de Technologie de Metz.
