Not only is James Azar the host of the CyberHub Podcast, but he is also a security practitioner and a strategic, entrepreneurial CISO with a diverse background with startup and enterprise organizations.
James has been leading information security teams, GRC, DevSecOps, AppSec, and engineering teams over the last 20 years to solve complex challenges by aligning technology, security, and privacy to business goals and risk tolerance. He is currently the CISO at AP4 Group.
Driven, security-minded, and business-oriented, James works, leads, and is dedicated to the security and business mission. In his experience, James has served as CTO, and CISO but his true passion lies at the intersection of Security and Business where innovation and out-of-box thinking are needed to drive security growth within an organization.
James is the host of the CyberHub Podcast and also has hosted CISO Talk, Goodbye Privacy, CISO Secrets (Season 1), and guest host webinars on behalf of the most popular cybersecurity site The Hacker News.
James is a global public speaker having spoken at events like CyberTech Israel, RSA, Data Connectors, FutureCon and has been published in Fox, OANN, AJC, ABC, NBC. He also writes for Substack.
James enjoys multiple espressos a day, chasing down a steak with Whiskey, Bourbon, or scotch.
