Our AI initiative looks to detect any tampering that might have been done to the distributed compiled code of open-source releases. Currently, the only way to ensure that you're running clean packages is to compile them from source. To fix this, we're using and developing Machine Learning models (including more recently LLMs) to inspect pairs of (source, compiled) code and make sure no tampering occurred.
